Residence Halls open on Saturday, January 26 at 11 a.m. Check-in hours for New Students have been arranged for Saturday and Sunday, January 26 & 27 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Check-in will occur at the Housing Office, Algonquin 103.

The Admissions Office, located on the 10th floor of the Kehoe Administration Building, will be open Sunday, January 27 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
During these hours, newly admitted students to the Spring 2013 semester may stop in to discuss concerns related to their enrollment (e.g., transfer credit evaluations, change of major requests, college catalogs, etc.)
New Student and Parent Question & Answer Session - Casual, Open Question and Answer Session with members of the Dean of Students and Academic Advisement staff, no questions to big or small
For new students who have not registered or who have questions for an academic advisor from their major department.
Meet with department faculty to discuss appropriate course selection and learn about degree requirements, followed by on-line registration.
Drop/Add for all matriculated students via Banner Web will be Sunday, January 27 at 5:15 p.m. through Sunday, February 3 at midnight.

The Financial Aid Office, 4th floor Kehoe Administration Building, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Financial Aid Office will also be open on Sunday, January 27, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Spring refunds of financial aid over-payments are released during the first month of the semester via Higher One (see Refunds).
Students returning to the work-study program may begin working on January 28. Students offered first-time work-study awards for the spring semester can go on my.plattsburgh.edu to look for positions that are open. Once a position is found go to the Financial Aid Office for the necessary paperwork.
Students who have not yet adjusted their bills, accepted their charges, and/or paid their balance are encouraged to do so on my.plattsburgh.edu.

The Plattsburgh Debit Card is the key that students must have in hand in order to go online to www.PlattsburghDebitCard.com, enter in the 16-digit number on the card front, and then make your choice for how you would like to receive future refunds. You should receive a Plattsburgh Debit Card in the mail within two weeks of registering for classes. Follow the instructions that accompany the card.

Students interested in part-time, temporary or summer employment on or off campus can stop by the Career Development Center (Kehoe, 8th floor) to complete a registration form and review job openings.
Students do not have to demonstrate financial need to be eligible for these services, although they may need to be matriculated in a degree program.

Cardinal Cash deposits may be made weekdays throughout the school year at College Auxiliary Services, located in Clinton Dining Hall, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Special hours will be on Sunday, January 27 from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Deposits are also accepted at the Angell Center Desk and the Student Accounts Office (financial aid transactions) or online at www.cardinalcard.com.

Meal Plan adjustments may be made at the College Auxiliary Services office (Clinton Hall) from Sunday, January 27 until close of business (4:30 p.m.) on Thursday, February 7.
The College Store is located in Saranac Hall.
The Campus Express convenience store is located in the Angell College Center.
Campus regulations state that you must register your vehicle for use on campus and display a parking hangtag no later than 48 hours after the first day of classes. A $20 hangtag fee (valid for the academic year), and a $78 parking fee (valid for the semester) are required before a hangtag can be obtained from University Police.
STEP 1-PAY PARKING FEES: If payment is added to your bill, then simply accept the charges; otherwise, pay online in the MyPlattsburgh portal, or direct pay at Student Accounts, Kehoe 101.
STEP 2- REGISTER VEHICLE: Register your vehicle online in the MyPlattsburgh portal.
STEP 3-PICK UP TAG: After payment and registration are completed, you may pick up your hangtag at University Police, Health Center. Please allow 24 hours for processing.

The Telecommunications Office is located on lower level of Saranac Hall, underneath the College Store.
If you are a returning student residing in the same residence hall location, you do not need to do anything.
New students can pick up their contracts with PBN and Voice Mail information at room check-in at the Housing Office - Algonquin 103.
