The Career Development Center (CDC) works with you to design a 4-year plan, from your first semester as a freshman to your senior year.
By listening to you and understanding your goals, the CDC staff will help you in discovering the best ways to apply your interests and market your talents.
Check out our office to explore career options, write resumes, and find out what employers are looking for. We have a variety of print and electronic resources to assist you in determining your career path.
The mission of the Career Development Center is to provide a range of services, resources, and programs to educate students and alumni in all aspects of the career development process to enhance their professional preparation and employability.

Part-Time Job Fair
If you are a student who wants a part-time job, come to the Part-time Job Posting Fair. It is held on the first day of school of the Fall semester (Monday, August 25, 2008). Jobs are filled quickly, so students attending this event have the best opportunity to secure a position.
The event is held in the Cardinal Lounge of the Angell College Center from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There are both on- and off-campus jobs posted. Typically, there are 400+ postings from 70+ employers.
We have the listings; you contact the employers. Some positions require a resume, so be prepared with a current version.
Senior Career Resource Center
The Senior Career Resource Center has moved to Macdonough Hall. Computers are available to conduct job searches through targeted websites, work on resumes and cover letters, research graduate schools, and discuss your concerns about your next big move! Amy Daniels, a graduate intern, will hold evening office hours on Mon., Tues., Thurs. from 4-9 PM and Wed. 1:30-3:30 PM and again at 7-10 PM.
