The Plattsburgh Alumni Association and President John Ettling invite cardinal alumni and friends to attend an alumni gathering at The Getty Villa. All are welcome.

Lunch: 12:00 p.m. We will meet as a group and have lunch at The Café at the Getty Villa. The Cafe serves casual Mediterranean-inspired fare. Wine and beer are also available. Cost: $15.
Tour: 2:30 p.m. Please arrive at the tour meeting place [outdoor classical theater] at least 5 minutes prior to the start of the tour. The tour is a 45-minute tour of the Getty Villa with a focus on the site's history, renovation, and educational mission.
Note to Visitors: Admission to the Getty Villa is free. No advance ticket is required; however, you must mention “Plattsburgh Alumni Association” and provide confirmation number of 554468 to the front gate staff. There is a $15.00 parking fee per car payable upon arrival. Please note that Drop-offs are not permitted at the Getty Villa, all vehicles must park. McIntyre will take the audience on a personal journey through her career in engineering and leadership. At Lockheed Martin, she promotes the development of robust, affordable technical solutions for customers’ challenging problems.

Space is limited to 10 on a first-come, first-served basis. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Dress for the weather in Cardinal red and practical shoes. Please bring snacks, your own work gloves and water.
Weather permitting volunteers will help to remove debris from the yard including raking, weeding and sweeping. Additionally, please come and share some fun outdoor activities with the children at Harrington House. From basketball and jump rope to song and dance, if you have a plan, they will be ready to play!

Location: Robert Acito Park House, Carroll Park in Carroll Gardens, located on Smith Street between President Street and Carroll Street, Brooklyn, N.Y.
(It is easily accessible by F or G subway lines to Carroll Street Station.)
Arrival Time: We'll start sprucing at noon and wrap up around 3:00 for snacks and chat time.
Number of Volunteers: 15 - 20
No age requirement. Family members welcome.
Volunteer activity: Occupying a full block in the center of beautiful and historic brownstone Brooklyn, Carroll Park is one of the most visited public spaces in the entire borough. Assorted volunteer duties may include planting, weeding, mulching, general cleaning, painting, and distributing posters and flyers for upcoming park events.
Snacks and water will be provided. Wear comfortable attire which you don't mind getting a little dirty.
