Congratulations! If you have received an acceptance packet from the Graduate Admissions Office, you have been formally accepted into a graduate program at SUNY Plattsburgh.
To accept our offer of admission, you must return a $250 tuition deposit by the date specified in your acceptance packet. The tuition deposit will hold your seat in the program and will be applied toward your tuition bill for your first semester. If you plan to live on campus, please contact the Graduate Admissions Office.
If you decide not to attend SUNY Plattsburgh and want a refund of your tuition deposit, please call the Director of Graduate Admissions at (518) 564-4723. Such requests will be considered, depending on how close it is to the start of the semester in which you were suppose to matriculate.
After your have returned your Confirmation of Credits and Conditions Form and paid your $250 deposit, you will be eligible to register for classes. It is in your best interest to return the form and deposit to the Graduate Admissions Office as soon as possible. You will want to register and get a seat in each of your classes before non-matriculated students are allowed to register.
Graduate students may be eligible for various New York State and Federal financial aid programs. You may visit the Financial Aid website for information concerning eligibility. Students may also apply for Graduate Assistantships and private loans.
