If you cannot attend winter classes at SUNY Plattsburgh or your schedule doesn't allow for it, you can opt to take an Online course from home, your dorm, or wherever you are!
Two Convenient Course Sessions
Online Session: December 22, 2008 - January 23, 2009
Winter Session online courses will officially be held from December 22 - January 23. Most online courses will begin on December 22 and end on January 23; however, since some courses are fewer than three credits they can be scheduled in a variety of ways. Some online courses may begin after December 22 and/or end before January 23. Please refer to the Winter Brochure or Banner Web for the exact course dates.
On-Campus Session: January 5 - 23, 2009
Winter Session on-campus courses will officially be held from January 5 - 23. Although these are the official dates for on-campus courses, courses have been scheduled in a variety of ways with some courses beginning before or after January 5 and ending before January 23. Please refer to the Winter Brochure or Banner Web for exact course dates.

So now you're convinced that SUNY Plattsburgh Winter Session is a good idea...especially if you are behind on credits and not sure if you'll graduate on time. Important Dates and Deadlines
- Monday, October 20, 2008 - Winter 2009 course advisement begins (8 a.m.)
- Sunday, October 26, 2008 - Graduate and Undergraduate Student Winter Session 2009 priority registration begins (10 a.m.)
- Sunday, November 9, 2008 - Winter 2009 non-matriculated student registration begins (10 a.m.)
- Monday, December 22, 2008 - Winter Session five-week online classes begin
- Monday, January 5, 2009 - Last day to register for a Winter Session course (Midnight). Winter Session three-week on- campus classes begin
- Friday, January 23, 2009 - Winter Session ends
