What employment is there in Adolescence Education?

Professional opportunities for Adolescence Education majors have never been greater. The graying of educators combined with an increasing number of children and a decrease in class size has created a shortage of teachers in most areas of the United States. In particular most states cannot adequately staff math, science and foreign language classes at the middle and high school level.

Adolescence Education at Plattsburgh offers nine areas of study: Biology, Chemistry, Geology, French, Mathematics, Physics, History, Spanish. Graduates of our program can pursue careers in their Adolescence Education specialty in:
